Bharat Heavy Electricals has bagged an order worth Rs. 910 million from Power Engineering Contracting Company of UK for supply of one number state-of-the-art 42 MW (Frame 6B) Gas Turbine generating unit for Nasiryah power project in Iraq. The gas turbine and associated equipment will be manufactured and supplied by Hyderabad plant and the state of the art Control System will be manufactured and supplied by Electronic division of Bangalore.

Steel Authority of India has invited bids for Boiler, Steam Turbine Generator and Balance of Plant Package for capacity expansion programme at Bhilai Steel Plant in Durg district of Chhatisgarh. The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacture, procurement, assembly, testing, inspection, packing, transportation to site, unloading and storage, preservation, handling at site, insurance, complete installation of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and other associated works including civil and structural works, pre-commissioning, commissioning, testing and performance guarantee testing and handing over of Boiler, STG & BOP on divisible turnkey basis.
