Jamshedpur Utilities & Services Company has bagged a municipal solid waste management contract for six municipalities under the Kolkata metropolitan area. The scope of work includes construction of five transfer stations and six compost plants in the municipalities of Champdani, Baidyabati, Serampore, Rishra, Konnagar and Uttarapara-Kotrung all falling under Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority. The project is expected to be completed within 39 months.

Jamshedpur Utilities & Services Company has bagged a couple of Municipal Solid Waste Management contract for the southern towns of Kollam in Kerala and Ambattur inTamil Nadu worth Rs. 660 million.

GEI Industrial Systems has bagged two orders from the power sector for the supply of air cooled steam condensers worth Rs. 640 million. The orders are for power plants being set-up by Ind -Barath Thermal Power at Tuticorin in Tamilnadu and Shree Renuka Sugars for captive power plant at Gandhidham in Gujarat.
