Tulip Telecom has bagged orders worth Rs 1582 million from Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat for providing data connectivity services. Under the programme, IT companies would help power utilities from concept to commissioning for facilitating reduction of aggregate technical and commercial (AT&C) losses through strengthening and upgradation of the transmission and distribution network. The scope of work includes supply, install and commission MPLS VPN, Internet and other connectivity services to all the project towns under the R-APDRP scheme floated by power corporations of UP and Gujarat. The projects are expected to be completed within 12-18 months, and maintained over a period of five years.

Jain Irrigation Systems has bagged an order worth Rs. 1683 million from Neeravari Nigam in Karnataka. The scope of work includes survey, design, planning, supply and execution of irrigation facilities across about 10,000 hectares of land through a network of canals and pipelines. The company would maintain the entire project for two years after commissioning it in 2012.

Jaihind Projects has bagged an order worth Rs. 100.7 million from Indian Oil Corporation for carrying out Combined Station works under Chennai – Bangalore Pipeline Augmentation Project.
