National Thermal Power Corporation has invited Expression of Interest bids for Switchyard Package of turnkey basis. The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacture, testing and inspection at manufacturer’s works, packing, supply, transportation, transit insurance, delivery to site, unloading and handling at site, storage, insurance and equipment erection including associated civil and structural works. The scope of work includes

•              Switchyard equipments: Circuit Breakers, isolators (with/without earth switch), current transformers, surge arresters, bus post insulators and capacitor voltage transformers, wave traps.

•              Complete switchyard protection systems and automation systems.

•              Switchyard Civil and structural Works

•              New Control room building/ Extension of existing Control room Building

•              The package may sometime include complete scope of supply of reactors (line as well as bus).

•              Transmission Line works of 33kV/132kV/220kV/400kV.

•              Direct Stroke Lightning Protection of complete switchyard either through LM or through Shield wire based on detail engineering.

•              Preparation of Power & Control cable schedule & termination schedules.

•              The foundation works of miscellaneous transformers and reactors within the switchyard boundary.

•              Switchyard materials like EHIPS Aluminum tube, ACSR/AAAC Conductor, G.S. Earthwire, Insulators and hardwares, Clamps, connectors and spacers, marshalling boxes, AC bay kiosks etc.

•              Complete earthing systems.
