Power Grid Corporation of India has invited bids for Tower Package P219-TW01 consisting 765 KV S/C Rihand – Vindhyachal Pooling Ckt-I, 765 KV S/C Rihand – Vindhyachal Pooling Ckt-II and 765 kV S/C Sasan – Vindhyachal Pooling & Tower Package P219-TW02 consisting 400 KV D/C (Quad) Vindhyachal – Vindhyachal Pooling and 400 KV D/C Sasan – Vindhyachal Pooling associated with Rihand – III and Vidhyachal – IV Thermal Power Plants. The scope of work includes Detailed survey including route alignment, profiling, tower spotting, optimisation of tower locations, soil resistivity measurement & geotechnical investigation, Check survey, fabrication and supply of all type 765 kV/ 400kV transmission line towers, including River crossing towers as per Owner design/drawings including fasteners, anti theft fasteners, step bolts, hangers, D-shackles etc, Supply of all types of tower accessories like phase plate, circuit plate, number plate, danger plate, anti climbing device, Bird guard, Supply of Earth wire, Hardware Fittings and Conductor & Earth wire Accessories, Classification of foundation for different type of tower and casting of foundation for tower footings as per Owner foundations drawing, erection of towers, tack welding of bolts and nuts including supply and application of zinc rich primer & two coats of enamel paint, tower earthing, fixing of insulator strings, stringing of conductors and earth wires along with all necessary line accessories, Painting of towers & supply and erection of span markers, obstruction lights for aviation requirements, Testing and commissioning of the erected transmission lines.
