ABB has bagged order worth Rs. 2200 million from Tata Projects for providing power products and solutions for 2 x 800 MW super critical coal-fired Kishnapatnam Thermal Power Plant in Andhra Pradesh. The scope of work includes integrated electrical balance of plant like transformers, switchgear, protection equipments and 400 KV sub-station. The scope of work also includes engineering, installation, testing, commissioning and overall proejct management. The project is expected to be completed by 2012.
