Bharat Heavy Electricals has bagged a contract from Adani Power worth Rs. 810 million for manufacturing and supplying generator transformers for the 1,980 MW Tirora Thermal Power Project in Maharashtra. The scope of work includes manufacture and supply of generator transformers for the 1,980 MW (3×660 MW) Tirora Thermal Power Project. The supplies will commence in December 2010 and the contract will be completed by December 2011.
