HCC bags 330 MW Hydro Project
Hindustan Construction Company has bagged a 330Mw hydroelectric project from National Hydroelectric Power Corporation worth Rs. 27264.9 million. The project Kishanganga Hydroelectric Project is situated on the Kishanganga river in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. The project involves construction of a 37m high concrete faced rockfill dam, 23.5 km of head race tunnel and underground powerhouse. The project involves engineering, procurement and construction of all items including civil and associated infrastructure works supply installation testing and commissioning of all electromechanical plant and machinery and hydro mechanical components including generating units. The project is expected to be completed within 84 months.
