National Thermal Power Corporation has invited bids for civil work including hydro mechanical package for 3 x 40 MW Rammam Stage – III Hydro Electric Project in Darjeeling district of West Bengal. The scope of work includes planning, design & engineering of Civil and infrastructure works; review of all available reports/studies; manufacturing, fabrication assembling, testing, inspection, transportation, erection, supervision and commissioning of hydro-mechanical equipments.

Civil Package: The Civil works comprise detailed design, engineering and executions of River diversion works, dam, intake, desilting chamber, silt flushing tunnel, HRT, surge shaft and pressure shafts & penstock, valve house, powerhouse, transformer, Outdoor Switchyard, tailrace channel and Access adits, permanent and temporary approach roads and other associated works.

Hydro Mechanical Package: The Hydro mechanical works comprise detailed design including fabrication, supply, erection etc. of various HM works such as trash racks, stop logs and radial gates for dam, intake bulk head gate, desilting chamber gates, silt flushing gates, surge shaft gate, Tail race channel & outfall gates, and HRT adit Gate, with their individual hoisting arrangements, etc.
