National Thermal Power Corporation has invited bids for Civil including Hydro Mechanical Works on Engineering, Procurement and Construction basis for 3 x 57 MW Lata Tapovan Hydo Electric Project in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. The scope of work includes Planning, Design & Engineering and Executions of Civil & Infrastructure Works; Review of all available reports / studies; Manufacturing, Fabrication Assembling, Testing, Inspection, Transportation, Erection, Supervision and Commissioning of Hydro-Mechanical equipments. The civil Works shall comprise (but not limited to) detailed Design, Engineering and Execution of Barrage, Water Intake structure, Desilting Basin, Silt Flushing arrangement structures, HRT, Surge shaft and Steel lined Pressure Shafts & Penstock, Valve Cavern, Powerhouse cavern, Transformer/ GIS cavern, Tailrace water collection gallery chamber, Pot head yard, Tailrace Tunnel & TRT outfall structure, Access & Ventilation tunnels and other adits, Permanent approach / access roads including steel bridges etc. The Hydro Mechanical works shall comprise (but not limited to) Design including Fabrication, Supply, Erection etc. of various Hydro Mechanical works such as Stop logs and Radial gates for Barrage with hoisting arrangement, Isolation & Flushing Tunnel gates with hoisting arrangement & steel liners and Trash rack for Desilting Basin & SFT, Trash racks, Gantry Crane cum Cleaning Machine & Stop log gate including hoisting arrangement for Intake, Intake gates with hoisting arrangement, Vertical lift Gates with hoisting arrangement for HRT intake, Inspection gates in adits, Sure Shaft Gates with hoisting arrangement, Draft Tube Gates in tail water gallery including hoisting arrangement and TRT outfall gates with hoisting arrangement.
