National Thermal Power Corporation has invited bids for Main Plant, Off Site Civil Works, Chimney and Chimney Elevator Package for 1×500 MW NTPC Tamil Nadu Energy Company Limited Power Project (Vallur Thermal Power Project) (2×500 MW + 1×500 MW) located between Ennore Creek and Kuruvimedu village of Ponneri Taluk in Thiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu. The scope of work includes

· All under ground civil works including piling & foundations for Boiler, ESP, fans, Mills, bottom ash hopper, TG, BFP, transformer yard including CW ducts in transformer yard area, and other equipment/ structures/paving in TG/boiler area.

· All foundation & piling, over ground civil, structural & architectural works for main plant building, mill & bunker buildings, transfer points, conveyor galleries and trestles in main plant area, Compressor house, DG set buildings, RCW pump houses, ESP & VFD control buildings

· Buildings and structures in offsite area like Pipe/Cable support structures & foundations, trenches / pedestals / duct banks in main plant & outlying area, Fuel oil pressurizing pump house, Hydrogen Generation Plant building, Earthing mat, paving in the main plant area, Hume Pipe crossing under rails/ roads, storm water drains

· Construction of one no of 275 m high RCC Chimney with single flue steel liner complete with all accessories including design, engineering, manufacture, supply and installation, testing and commissioning of chimney

National Thermal Power Corporation has invited bids for CW System and Make Up Water System Civil Works Package for 2 x 660 MW Barh Super Thermal Power Project, Stage-II at Barh in Patna District of Bihar. The scope of work includes Civil, Structural and Architectural works including fabrication and erection of Structural Steel/ Pipes of the following major structures/ facilities:
i) CW pump house including fore bay, switchgear room,
ii) Station Aux. CW pump house including fore-bay etc.
iii) CW ducts between CW pump house and transformer yard area (ducts between transformer yard area and A-row are covered in Main Plant Civil works package) and upto Cooling Towers,
iv) RCC CW channel,
v) Discharge pipes from CW pumps and station auxiliary CW pumps,
vi) CW recirculation pipeline etc.
vii) Various crossings along CW Duct routing with roads, drains etc.
viii) Stop logs, trash racks, lifting beams with hoists in CW Pump house and SACW Pump house.
ix) Supply and erection of interconnecting pipeline between existing Raw water Pump house and desilting basin, the civil works for interconnecting pipeline between existing Raw water Pump house and desilting basin, laying make up water pipes and effluent disposal pipe including wrapping / coating and cathodic protection for buried make up water and effluent disposal pipeline. Complete Desilting Basin and Silt flushing pump house on the riverbank,
x) Make-up Water Pump House downstream of the desilting basin including control room, PAC room etc.
xi) Stop logs, trash racks, lifting beams with hoists in Desilting basin, Make-up water pump house,
xii) Various crossings along pipeline with road, drains etc in area.
