National Thermal Power Corporation has invited bids for Supply and Installation of Outdoor Transformers Package for Simhadri Super Thermal Power Project, Stage-II (2×500 MW) at Simhadri in Visakhapatanam district of Andhra Pradesh. The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacture, testing at works, short circuit testing on one transformer of each rating (Except on Misc. Service Transformer & Sweet Water Makeup Transformer), transportation to Simhadri STPP site (Dist. Visakhapatnam), receipt, handling and storage at site, erection and commissioning of Transformers along with neutral grounding resistors at Simhadri STPP and inclusive of necessary tools and tackles and supply of mandatory spares.
