BHEL bags Rs 4310 million order from IOC

Bharat Heavy Electrical has bagged a Rs 4310 million order for setting up a 2 x frame-6 gas turbine-based co-generation power plant at Gujarat Refinery Complex of Indian Oil Corporation.

The project is being set up to meet the power and steam needs of the refinery for high-speed diesel quality improvement project, a BHEL press release said here.

The scope of work for the contract envisaged design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection and commissioning of Frame-6 gas turbine generator and two units of heat recovery steam generators of 100 ton per hour capacity along with requisite auxiliaries.

The BHEL’s Trichy unit will manufacture and supply heat recovery steam generators while the Hyderabad facility will supply gas turbine generators. The Electronics and Control Systems will be produced by electronics division of BHEL at Bangalore. The company will commission the first unit in 23 months and the second in one month thereafter.

UCIL invites bid for Industrial supply & servies

Uranium Corporation of India has invited bids for Intake well including survey of infiltration well, Intake pump of capacity not less than 400m3/ hr including balancing reservoir, intermediate reservoir, Underground reservoir at plant, Effluent Treatment plant,Water Treatment Plant and DM Plant on EPC/Turnkey basis. The scope of work includes design, Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Supply, Manufacture / Fabrication, Painting, Erection, Testing & Inspection, Commissioning and Performance Testing, complete in all respect, on EPC / Turnkey basis, of all mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, architectural, air conditioning & ventilation, environmental, control and instrumentation with all equipment and accessories for the intake pump & Intake well including survey of infiltration well at Chitravati river, Intake well pump house, pipe line laying from intake to hill top reservoir, and pipe line laying from hill top reservoir to intermediate reservoir including pump house and subsequently to plant. Underground reservoir including pump house, Plant over head Industrial tank, Drinking water over head tank and underground tank with pump houses, Water Treatment Plant, DM water plant, and Effluent Treatment Plant, Condensing receiving unit, Fire detection and Alarm system at Uranium Ore Mining and Processing Project at Tummalapalle in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh.

BHEL bags Rs. 18290 million order from Aravali STPP

Bharat Heavy Electricals has bagged a Rs 18290 million order for manufacturing and setting up three 500MW thermal power units in Haryana.

BHEL will design, manufacture, supply, erect and commission three steam generators along with associated auxiliaries at Jhajjar in Haryana for the Aravali Super Thermal Power Project (STPP).

The project is a joint venture between National Thermal Power Corporation, Harayana State Electricity Board and Indraprastha Power Generation Company.

While BHEL’s Tiruchirapalli unit will manufacture the steam generators, its Ranipet unit will make auxiliaries such as electrostatics, precipitators, fans and air pre-heaters. The Hyderabad unit will supply coal mills, the Bhopal unit motors and the Bangalore unit electronics and control systems.

The synchronisation and coal-firing for the first unit would be achieved before the next 36 months.
