Maharashtra State Power Generation Co has invited bids for the following :

a. Design, manufacture and supply of all materials, execution of civil works, erection, testing and commissioning of 220/22KV gas insulated switchgear substation at Bhandup.

b. Design, manufacture and supply and laying including jointing, termination, testing and commissioning of 220 KV double circuit underground feeder to the proposed Bhandup Substation.

Larsen and Toubro Ltd (L&T) has bagged two orders valued at Rs 412 crore from Andhra Pradesh government and Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL).

L&T along with its JV partnet Kirloskar Brothers bagged the Rs 332 crore EPC lift irrigation contract from the Irrigation & Command Area Development Dept (ICAD), Government of Andhra Pradesh.

It involves investigation, design, supply, erection, operation and maintenance of necessary lift systems for lifting water from Goddamvaripalli village to Goddumarri Anicut in the Cuddappah district of Andhra Pradesh.

The scope of work for Kirloskar Brothers will involve design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of pumps, motors, all electromechanical, instrumentation works and HVAC system.

The second order worth over Rs 80 crore from RINL is for executing civil works for Wire Rod Mill No. 2 of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP).

L&T and its International consortium partner Paul Wurth Italia and India will also be executing an EPC package valued over Rs 1,400 crore for the expansion of VSP bagged in March.

National Thermal Power Corporation on behalf of NTECL, invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for Chimney and Chimney Elevator Package for NTPC Tamil Nadu Energy Company Ltd. Power Project, (2 x 500 MW) located between Ennore Creek and Kuruvimedu village of Ponneri taluk, district Thiruvellur, state of Tamil Nadu. The scope of work includes construction of one 275 metre high Reinforced Concrete Twin Flue Chimney with Steel liners complete with all accessories including design, engineering, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Chimney Elevator.
